We are Stop The Suns From Setting

Stop The Suns From Setting started in Glasgow at the end of 2024 when drummer Panka and guitarist Chris began writing together with the goal of creating music that felt honest, emotional, and completely our own. A few weeks of late-night writing sessions later, Kels joined on vocals, and the lineup was complete.

We play what we like to call “creamy screamy”, what is really just blending huge melodies and raw screams into something that feels both familiar and fresh.

Since forming, we've ticked off several bucket-list venues and shared stages with some incredible bands. The first track from our debut EP had reached quite good success, and we have been played on BBC introducing, as well as accepted to the NewInScotland playlist from Widedays.

MEMBERS

KELS - VOCALS

She might joke, “I’m just the singer,” but trust us, she’s so much more. Kels writes all the lyrics and vocal melodies, and somehow also manages to embody every teenage boy's rockstar fantasy. Total powerhouse.
 

CHRIS - GUITAR

Our very own guitar god. Chris writes most of the backing tracks and brings serious riffs, though he used to keep his talent under wraps. Now he's out of the closet and melting faces.

PANKA - DRUMS

Our drummer and rhythmic backbone. Panka’s an award-winning jazz drummer with the soul of a metalhead. Her and Chris co-founded the band, and yes, she plays hard, fast, and flawlessly.
